Ep. 12 Reflecting on: Burnout

We all get tired, but burnout is something deeper. Something heavier.
In this episode, Marcus and Charlie explore what burnout actually is, drawing on psychological theory and lived experience. We unpack Maslach’s three dimensions of burnout, talk through real-world symptoms, and share the moments where we’ve personally felt the weight of trying to do too much for too long.
We also look at why burnout is on the rise, particularly among young people navigating work, pressure, and perfectionism in a world that doesn’t seem to stop. And, most importantly, we talk about what helps, whether that's rest, boundaries, or just naming the feeling.
This is a must-listen if you've ever said "I'm fine" when you're clearly not.
